Comments: I must congratulate you for the site,you did your home work well,so nicely done.I happen to go into sites trying to get info.on my great grand-parents I have tried to go to govt.birth records also latter day saints,even to the census,cant get anything,been waiting for password no luck latter day saints did not have info.How do we get the census. I think I tried them all,I go into sites and really does not give me what I need.Yes I was born in glasgow,come here in 1975.I did notice some names you listed that people were interested in,so I will pass it along. Thank you for the nice view.

Comments: I used to live at 60 Windhill Rd. At the back of our house there was a really old tree which I know pre-dated our house but Im not sure about pre-dating the older houses like those in Mansewood Rd or Hillside Rd. The tree was the meeting place for the local starling population prior to their evening exodus to the city centre. They made a huge noise.

Comments: I was born in Mansewood in 1952 and lived there for 26 years.
I would love to see photographs of the "Kirky" (as it was called) before Hillpark housing scheme was built on it.I would also like some info. on the old house ruin which was in the kirky at the top end of Pentland road.
I remember a ruined courtyard and stables.
