Posted On: November 25, 2006 03:31:34 PM How Often: Sometimes Location: Italy Comments: Nice homepage. Actually I searched over the net as many as possible information about Clobber. I've to write down a Clobber palyer for an AI course exam (prof. L. Palopoli, UNICAL, DEIS), part of the exam will be a tournament (on 10*10 boards). I wonder if a version of your player MILA would be available for download (not the source obviously ^^) in the near future, like your LOA player. A request for the next release: Could you make the pieces selectable / editable files. I prefer the full round black and white checker style, easier for me to visualuse overall, like the ones at www.brainking.com Regards, prendek E-mail: prenco@gmail.com

Posted On: July 07, 2006 12:52:05 AM How Often: Never Location: Germany Comments: Hi, i know this game for more than 10 years or so. But i always thought the goal was to achieve a continuous line of stones, not only a connected group. Hmmm, i think that (the official rules) will make things a lot easier. I'll try the official rules next time. ;) Thanks for your site E-mail: stephan@g-f-x.de

I'm a student of "Engenharia Informatica e de Computadores", at the "Instituto Superior Técnico" - Lisbon, Portugal. Your work has provided me with an insight of LoA and some heuristics, and that will help me thru my own work. Good luck, Your site was greatly appreciated. E-mail: daniel.lcc@gmail.com

Posted On: October 16, 2005 05:46:22 AM How Often: Rarely Location: New Jersey, USA Comments: Very nice! I'm currently planning on a programming contest where programs will play a timed game of LOA against one another. I was wondering about how long (how many moves) an LOA game "usually" is ... I've never played, but looking around the web it looks like most games are over in less than 30 moves per player. Reason I'm asking is that I want to impose a mzximum move limit and want to pick a "reasonable" number ... wold appreciate the help of an expert! I'm at http://dinsights.com/POTM if you want to check out the past problems ... but please don't post on the forums about LOA yet as I have not announced the next contest! Thanks Again! =Fred (the POTM-MASTER) E-mail: potm@dinsights.com
